Principal's Message

Welcome students and parents to the 2023-2024 school year! The staff and faculty are hard at work preparing for a wonderful  year.

We are so excited to welcome our new and returning students to the start of the school year. School begins daily at 8:20 am. Dismissal is at 2:50, with the exception of each Wednesday students are dismissed one hour early for staff professional development.

Humboldt Elementary School is dedicated to teaching, nurturing and supporting our students and families in a safe, respectful, and responsible environment in order to ensure success in learning and life. Success for students is dependent upon the collaborative work among faculty, staff, parents, and students, along with the support of the community. The goal of all our staff is to provide students with a direction as they focus on their present and future learning goals.

At Humboldt Elementary School we believe that all children can learn. We believe in a culture of high expectations and that high levels of support will create success for all. We believe all students deserve a rigorous, guaranteed, and viable curriculum. We believe effective teachers make the difference. We believe collaborative decisions are student-centered and data driven. We believe that continuous improvement is embedded in the learning system. We believe in highly effective and engaging professional development for all faculty and staff. At Humboldt Elementary School we value and believe in the Humboldt Unified School District mission which is, “to provide a comprehensive, world-class education for all students”. At Humboldt Elementary School all children have the opportunity to choose success.

I am confident that parents and students alike will find Humboldt Elementary  will meet and exceed their expectations for a positive elementary school experience, while providing a clear direction for both academic and personal achievement.

I look forward to working with all students and parents to achieve this mission and goals for all students in our community for a positive school year.
